Should I be getting up in the night to empty breasts?

I'm confused about an aspect of breastfeeding. My dd is now going six or seven hours a night without feeding. In the morning my breasts feel massive but not very painful (I never even really suffered with engorgement when my milk first came in so I'm obviously just lucky) However I have noticed that the first feed of the day is getting harder as dd seems to be bringing up quite a lot of milk after 5 -10 mins on the breast and then decides not to carry on. This is a bit frustrating because she used to be good at taking in 25 minutes in the morning and then going for three or four hours without any. This way she's hungry again within two hours.

Is there some reason that my breast milk won't be as good if I've gone for seven hours without emptying them? Will she be getting too much fore milk or is the milk coming down so fast that she's getting ahead of herself? I have an electric expressing machine which I use after her feed each morning but should I perhaps express 30z before I feed her? If anyone could give me advice I'd be grateful

No need to express - your dd will adjust accordingly. As breastfeeding gets more efficient through time, she may well take less time to feed. I would not interrupt nature's way of balancing feeds out. She will start to go longer between feeds again in time.
