Teething toddler more into BM than food...

...this is normal, right? He's 15 months and keeps asking for 'ma'. He will eat but is mad for my milk.

1.30am - cried in night and was settled by a ten minute eager feed
6am- woke, BF then got up and played
8am - ate a finger of toast with cream cheese and ham, a few oz cows milk then demanded BM again, clawing at my chest
10am - ate a slice of apple, a breadstick and a chunk of cheddar in supermarket whilst clutching my chest and asking for milk.
Got home and had BM.

11.45 - lunch. Refused broccoli, lasagne and toast. Ate slice of apple and small piece of plain sponge cake. Grabbed my bra and cried. Then went down for nap after 30 min BF.

If it's anything like yesterday, he will eat some plain veg and a small sandwich on waking, then fuss for milk again.

5pm - supper, refused to eat until wheeled off in buggy whereupon he ate small bits of quesadilla fed by hand, then home for long, sleepy BF of over 30 mins before bed.

He has one molar just out and another coming plus just popped an incisor this week too. All normal?

Thanks

My 2.2 y.o. DS usually feeds more often than that, and he likes his food. :)

Sounds very normal to me - especially when teething. If it's any consolation, DS is unwell at the moment so is having bf at roughly half-hourly intervals.

Thanks for the reply. I think he would feed all the time if he could, keep going out to distract him and try to work up his appetite! Hope your DS gets better soon.

My son 2 years and 3 month and he is teething again. He only has his back ones to come through and he won't eat much. He would rather eat yogurt and just drink at the moment.

Sounds normal. Might want comforting as well

Yy utterly normal, my two were just the same. Try not to worry
