I have developed golf ball tonsils
I feel incredibly bad. I don't want the baby to get this. It would be too much. I co sleep... How do I avoid him getting it? He is 15 week and was a poorly baby so have general anxiety about this. Also I feel so crap, nursing is really tough :(

Hugs

Will he be able to sleep in a cot by your bed?

If it's not too cold, it's best to leave the bedroom window open so that the air is renewed. Be careful with sneezing and coughing.
Probably best to wash hands as much as possible and change pillowcases every day. Throw away tissues as soon as they are used.

Chances are you are giving your baby antibodies with your milk, so, hopefully he won't get it.

I hope you get better and your baby doesn't catch it.

Please don't have too much anxiety about this, as light says your baby will be receiving your antibodies through your milk so should be well protected.

Have you got anyone to have LO for a while for you so that you can get some rest?

Thank you jjj. Trying to keep my anxiety under control. He seems fine ATM. Am at my mum and dad right now, so perhaps they can help me out a bit. Am so run down and exhausted!

If you have any white stuff on your tonsils or throat (i.e. t's bacterial rather than viral), get thee to a doctor and get antibiotics. They will make you feel better quickly and also will reduce the time of being contagious.
