6 months and refusing bottles

My dd is now 6 months and over the last month or so I have tried to introduce a bottle every other day just so I can leave her with dh so I can go out for a few hours occasionally. She is dc5 and I had no problems with the boys taking a bottle but dd is refusing it and just screams when you try. I have tried all different bottles, cups, other people giving it to her and nothing has worked. We have also just started to wean and it is the same with a spoon she gets really cross and won't open her mouth, so we wil now be blw which is fine. I don't want to give up breastfeeding but I just need a night out. Any suggestions ?

If it really is just for a night out you could just go. Leave a cup/bottle in case she takes it but really 3 or 4 hours isn't that long. just feed her before you go and when you come back.

Sounds like she's a stubborn girl like mine! What is her evening routine like? Is she still cluster feeding? When does she go to bed? When will she wake up again after you put her to sleep? Can someone she trusts, eg your DH, rock her back to sleep? Or at least calms her?

Mine usually goes down by 6pm and you don't hear a squeak from her till at least 1 from a very young age. If she gets up, she is happy to sit on DHs lap and watch tv. Every baby is so different so it's hard for us to see what could help.
