dd doesn't like cows milk

hi dd is 13 months old and currently breast fed 4 x per day, i would like to start reducing the breast feeding and replacing it with milk from a beaker but dd just spits out cows milk. has anyone had this problem and did your dc like any other type of milk? i know expressing breast milk would be an obvious solution but i really don't get much at all, not sure why, my dd is on the top centile so she must be getting enough Grin
thanks for your help

DC1 has never been a fan of cow's milk

She stopped bf about 10m and has never really had it as a drink since (she's 8)

But has it on cereal, sauces etc and likes dairy generally

thanks, do you know how much they should be drinking? i can't get dd to eat any cereal either, even porridge. I've tried it warm, cold and all ways inbetween Grin. she does like yogurt and soft cheese so i guess that's something.

Not sure - think the recommended is 1pt a day (could be wrong!)

This on page 18 has the exact requirements.

It's difficult to express and is a learnt skill to let down for a cold piece of plastic over your lovely warm baby so not being able to express much isn't a sign of not enough milk. Also, as time goes on it becomes more difficult to express as your body switches production from hormone driven to supply driven so if you try to pump out of nowhere then it can be difficult to get milk out.

Mine was the same and now we are mixing formula and milk and are gradually increasing the ratio of milk little by little. It seems to be working.
