Can I store expressed milk like this?

I need a full bottle of milk for the end of next week.
I can't express much at a time so have expressed 2oz today and put in fridge. Obviously it wont last in the fridge for 10 days so was thinking I could pump again for next 3 days and hopefully get 2oz each time, adding to the bottle in the fridge each time. Then after I've got s full bottle I will put it in the freezer till next weekend when I'll need it.
Is this any good? Never expressed before!!

Depending on the age of your baby 2oz is a full feed!

BF babies between 1-6m need on average 25oz a day (on a range of 19-30oz) so leaving an oz per hour you are gone plus an extra feed in case of an delay in getting back to baby is probably enough.

It's best to freeze in small batches as they defrost quicker and you don't waste as much if container gets knocked over/bottle dropped/etc.

You can add milk from one day's pumping to previous pumpings BUT you treat it as the oldest milk (e.g. Milk pumped on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday is in one bottle it has to be treated as Monday's milk).

If you do add milk together but plan to freeze, it's best to freeze the first day's milk then chill the next lot of milk before pouring it into the frozen milk. Milk needs to be frozen with in 48 hours of pumping if you intend to freeze it.

Ok so freeze today's milk and then chill each day and then add to the frozen milk? Thanks, that sounds fine!
Dd is 3 months old but when she was 1 month old dh gave her a couple of bottles of formula over a couple of evenings and she drank a whole 7oz carton each time! That's why I am aiming to leave 8oz!
She drinks a lot in the evenings as she sleeps all night

Exactly - freeze today's, chill tomorrow's then add to frozen and freeze topped up milk.

This has got lots of good tips on how to bottle feed a bf baby (might be good to give to the babysitter in case it's been a while since they fed a baby).

Thank you. Dh will be with her so he should be fine. I'll forward him the link though as it's interesting to read.
I have put today's milk in the freezer, thanks.

Are you a bf counseller? You are very good with advice :)
