Effect of mother's diet on breastfed baby's behaviour

I am a student bf counsellor and I am interested to find as many personal experiences as possible about the effects different foods/drinks taken by the mother have on their baby's behaviour. I would also like to know how long after the food was eaten the effect on the baby was noticed. Was it quite soon after eating, later the same day or the next day? I know this isn't scientific, but your personal experiences would be much appreciated.

I could eat anything except onions or cauliflower. Onions would make DD curl up and cry, obviously tummy ache, and then explosive farts and runny poo. Cauliflower would just give her tremendous wind (think of blowing up a balloon and letting it go - yes, that loud and long) and the associated tummy ache. All would happen within about 4 hours of her BFing, and last about four or five hours.

Can't believe no-one has mentioned oranges or orange juice - with both my dds it made them really cranky - with dd2 I had really strong desire for orange juice drank almost a litre in one evening and she was a nightmare all night. Also too many tomatoes (Italian so lots of tomato sauce based food) were not good. So I decided to just avoid acidic kind of food.
I also found drinking a small glass of beer really did help with milk supply (personally could not manage more than a glass). I'm not really a beer drinker so I ended up drinking more beer while breastfeeding than at any other point in time in my life!
