Aptimal toddler milk-help preparing

Hi, just switching to toddler milk from normal formula but a bit confused by the instructions. I used to prepare old formula by using boiled water cooled for 30 mins, then quickly cool and store in the fridge until needed. Toddler milk says to use cooled boiled water and serve immediately. 3 questions really, as it says serve now does it mean cold boiled water, if so why is this any different to tap water. Also, can I still prepare in advance and store in the fridge. Thanks.

no idea, but why are you changing, there really isnt any need to, if you still want your little one to have formula then they can carry on having the first stage stuff the whole time they dont need the follow on milk, its just a marketing gimmick.

how old is your little one? they could just have regular cows milk?

my ds4 had formula till he was 3yrs 5mths, purely as he liked it and had some before bed each night, but its was the first stage, suitable from newborn stuff i never bothered with follow on or toddler milks.

if your lo is 1 they can have full fat cows milk rather than formula

You aren't really supposed to keep first milk for later either. I think they are both supposed to be prepared the same way - boiled water mixed with powder at at least 70 degrees, cooled to drinking temp and served immediately. If you need to make in advance, make up at 70 degrees, flash cool and refridgerate.

The previous posters are correct though, all you need is first milk from birth to 12 months then full fat cow's milk.
