Returning fertility after bf

Did anyone find that they got particularly tired just before they started ovulating again?

I think I might be ovulating again for the first time (DS is 22 m.o. and still feeding avidly). I've had a spell of being unreasonably tired for no good reason, which seems to be improving again now. I wondered if the two could be related.

I've not had other symptoms, which makes me slightly Confused as when DS went on a 12-day nursing strike at 13 m.o. I had a week of period-type cramping (which went away again once he started nursing again).

The GP has done blood tests for things like anaemia, but I've not had the results back yet.

I've started ovulating again v early both times and the main thing I noticed was a change in nursing behaviour ie more frequent, ALWAYS a blocked duct and a lot of fussing. This made me more tired iyswim. And the hormonal shift did just make me feel 'altered' I suppose. Bit down, slightly heavy and achy.

I bf for 3.4yrs with dd and had a blocked duct without fail the day of ovulation each time. And I ovulated 4 weekly from when she was 11 weeks old.

Thanks. :)

No fussing here - DS has been swapping sides quite a bit but he's been doing that for a few weeks.

He does have a suddenly excruciating latch though. Looking at Kellymom it looks like that could be due to ovulation (I'm deffo not pg). Here's hoping - we've been wanting to TTC for nearly a year now but didn't think DS could cope with reducing substantially reducing his feeds.

My tiredness has been going on for a while so it sounds like it's probably unrelated. The blood tests all came back negative.
