Hi,
My 6mo is now taking a bottle (horah) and I am starting to drop bf in anticipation of going away for a few days with girlfriends. My OH will join us later and we will have a holiday together over Xmas.
He is travelling on a long haul flight with her and I have been fretting about how he can sterilise and make up formula for her.
Have concluded best thing will be cartons of pre-mixed formula, but has anyone tried those bottles that hold pre-sterilized liners?
What are they like? and how do you sterilize the teat each time???

Got a couple of weeks to figure it out but dont want to invest if they are rubbish.

What do you think?

Hi, don't know if it is any use but we used small cartons of pre-made milk and disposable bottles on our wedding day as we had 2 overnight stays.

We used the tommy tippee ones and they were rubbish, the holes were far too big and ds hated them, I ended up bfing him in my gown!

A few months later when he was 6 months I ran out of bottles after being stuck out all day so had to buy them again and found them to be much better, not sure if they had changed them or what but they were brill, you get a sealed teat + bottle and you just pour the milk in! They come in packs of 6 I think from boots and are pretty cheap - just be careful of travelling with formula if its premade as I think they're a bit funny about it! Just give airline a call before hand and ask them - but the travel/disposable bottles don't need sterilising and just get binned after use! Enjoy your hol!

my cousin used the playtex drop ins (think that is the right name) when she went to NZ and swears she would never bother with anything else again.

at 6 months there is no need to sterilise them. they'll be fine washed in soapy water
