Well done! And it's been said before on here, but it's so true - do NOT worry about making people feel uncomfortable. Think of the kind of person who might feel uncomfortable seeing a woman breastfeeding a baby. Are you bothered about offending that kind of person? Exactly.

Personally, every time I feed DS in public I think I am doing my little bit to counter the FF culture we live in and to remind the British public about what is the normal way to feed an infant

Onepiece, that's an awesome story.
I remember first time DH Grandma saw me feed DS, she remarked 'Oh, you get the good stuff!' Which made me happy. (And a bit smug )

I've always assumed someone near me might find more to object to in DS's deafening roars of hunger than a few inches of my bosom, and should be grateful I have boobs on hand to quickly shush him with.

It was all strange and awkward to start with, but I remember somewhere around 5 months, being in JL cafe with DS feeding away, me with a cup of tea, scone and a book in one hand, all very comfy and easy. So comfy that at one point, I finished my chapter, realised DS had actually finished feeding a while ago, and had just leaned back and fallen asleep. So basically I was just sitting there reading a book with one boob out. Ahem.
