Projectile vomiting after expressed BF?

Hi, I wondered if anyone had any suggestions.

We have been trying to introduce the odd bottle to DS 3 months. He's not always keen and quite often refuses to take a bottle but the past 2 times he has taken it he's then projectile vomited about an hour later. He'll take a couple of oz from the bottle then usually a bit later take a boob. Then completely empty his stomach.

He doesn't seem particularly upset afterwards, doesn't have a temp and he hasn't done this at any other time. All bottles are sterilised and the milk has been expressed the same day, stored in fridge on the shelf (not door) and warmed up in a jug of warm water.

Any suggestions most gratefully received.

Do you wind him after - and possibly during - a bottle feed? Of he's not bothered by it, it's most probable that he's either swallowing more air or that he's drinking more than he needs, or both.

He does get winded but at the end so will try winding him during. I thought that he might be taking more than he needs but if he does this on the boob (v. rarely now) then he spits up a bit, never full force across the room projectile vomiting. If it is that he's taking too much then I'm not sure what to do as he 'demands' it and he's fed on demand :(

Is the flow too fast - might he do better with a small teat size on the bottle? Could just be a bit too much in one go on his tummy compared to bf.

Right winding during feeds and a smaller size teat it is. The teat is a size 2 so will try to find a size one.
Thank you for your suggestions, will give it a go and hopefully have more success.
