How much can I express without leading to oversupply?

I want to have some stored in the freezer for mixing with baby rice and the like. I do tend towards oversupply if anything and I don't want to get engorged, how much can I express that if I stopped wouldn't be too much of an issue iyswim?

Thanks

Could you just drop a feed without issues? If not, less than a typical feed (approx. 750ml divided by the number of feeds a day).

I think its beter to think in time spent pumping rather than volume collected. I always pump for 5-10 mins from the other breast while DD has her first feed of the day and just collect whatever comes (1-5oz).

I would recommend choosing a time of day that you can almost aways do and set yourself a reasonable time limit and see what you get - you will find you get more with practice, and early mornings are more productive than evenings IME.

Also if you are prone to leaks while feeding you can collect this in breast shells during the rest of your days feeds (I was quite leaky until about 4months and could get quite a lot this way).
