Extended bfing and pregnancy, help!

My 3 yr old ds is still bfing morning and bedtime and I'm nearly 10 weeks pregnant. I've notices I'm making very little if any milk and it's fairly uncomfortable as I think he's dry nursing. I'm happy to tandem and continue as we are. Equally if ds stopped that's ok too but I wouldn't want to instigate this as I prefer child led weaning. Anyway, has anyone else gone through this and what happened? We are also co sleeping and whilst he has his own room and bed and it's a nice place he prefers to sleep in with me. Again I am ok for this to continue but wonder how on earth it works with a little one as well. My eldest ds is 11 so quite a big age gap and never had these issues.

Also re bfing, would love a good sling. I have very large bust (36J) and never managed to find suitable one for ds2.

Congratulations on the PG. Sorry though, have no experience of tandem feeding or co-sleeping with 2. With regards to the sling though, could you get along to your local Slingmeet? That's if there is one near you.

I can't tell you what will happen with your older nurseling as every nursing relationship is very different. But I am sure if problems occur, there are several tandem nursers on here who will help.

I have nursed through two pregnancies and happily tandem nursing for the last couple of years. It can be a bit much, making me feel too touched out at times but the benefits way out weigh the negatives atm. ;)

Cosleeping the things you must do for safety sake. Never leave older child in bed with baby on their own. Always place yourself between the baby and older child.
