Different amount of milk in each breast?

I'm wondering if it's possible to have one 'better' breast in terms of milk production and if so whether I can do anything to improve the other one. My right breast seems to satisfy DD (14 weeks) much more than the left which she often pulls on and off and comes off crying. I know that she gets some milk from the left because I get milky dribbles from her and will leak on that side when feeding from the right. Should I continue alternating sides each feed or should I offer her the right breast once she comes off the left breast. Or will this make the right breast even 'better' and the left 'worse'? Also if I express I seem to get 3 oz relatively easily from the right breast but struggle to get 2 from the left. Very confused as to what to do for the best.

I have a good boob/bad boob situation too, DS also 14 weeks Grin I just carry on alternating which boob I start on, but I always offer both regardless of which side I feed from. I think my prob might be cos I find it harder to feed from bad boob position wise so I probably favoured good boob in the early days which might have effected supply. I don't express (not a good indicator of supply anyway). DS is a chunky monkey so I'm not worrying about it.

oops, sorry, should read 'I offer both regardless of which side I start on.'

Good to know I'm not alone. I think I'll always offer both sides too

I'd actually suspect your left has a stronger supply - fast letdown can make them pull them and get unhappy. As you're getting milky dribbles and leaks from that die, more milk seems more likely than less.
