BF to sleep, want her to go down earlier, how?

Before the 4 month sleep regression DD would go to bed about ten every night. Then at 4 months she would go later and later. Now at 20 weeks she is going to bed around ten again. I have always fed her to sleep. If she wakes when I put her in the cot, I give her a dummy to settle her, or she settles herself with thumb.

I do try to put her down earlier but it's always unsuccessful.

She usually only gets up once a night now. How can I get her to sleep earlier? Is it possible?

My DD is a little bit younger, 14 weeks.

She would usually has a bath at 7pm, then cluster feed/nap until about 9.30pm when I'd put her down for the night.

Over the last few weeks she's been falling asleep really soundly after her bath and I've been putting her down at 8pm.

She's done it herself, I'm not sure I could have swayed her. All I will say is that I do the same thing, at the same time, in the same order, every night.

And also, although her naps are still unpredictable in the day, I try to make sure she's awake from 5pm onwards so she's tired, but not overtired.

I still feed to sleep too, although I find if I put her down fast asleep she wakes half an hour later wondering where she is. If I rouse her ever so slightly she sleeps soundly. (Till 2am anyway!)

I give DD a bath every second day. I could give her one every night I guess if I want to try to establish routine before bed.

I usually take her in the bath with me which she loves and I find it easier doing it that way than in her wee bath. She doesn't really like her wee bath. Any tips for getting her to like it? I wonder if she doesn't feel supported enough in it or something.

DD does not sleep much at all during the day. I think that when she's relaxed when feeding it must be enough for her during the day. She maybe sleeps for half an hour during the day. Grrrrr......

It's so hard. I don't get much of a break from her now...
