So I was having an argument, and...

I was arguing with someone about my kitchen, I thought it shouldn't have been left with live cables lying around, he wanted to charge for it to be fixed, and...

Dd was whinging so I picked her up and she latched herself on (she can do it herself at 14 months) and suddenly I appeared to have won. DD followed this by instantly falling asleep with one hand down my top.

Um. I didn't think twice and carried on the argument discussion but it must have made him so uncomfortable that he started agreeing with me. The wires will be fixed.

I'm not sure if that's a triumph or not. I felt a bit sorry for him.

Fantastic!!

I had a "discussion" with the leisure centre manager about something that had really annoyed me about ds1's class a while back, all whilst ds2 was latched on.

But he was in a sling and the guy probably didn't even notice!!

Saying that, it was resolved to my satisfaction, so maybe there's something in it! Wink

Good point, I should have offered him a cup of tea and asked if he wanted milk in it.

He could have admired my one-handed tea making technique.

The magical power of breastfeeding! I have used it to avoid my share of the housework relax after a hard day but never yet for financial gain, must try it!

I say. IT's like when I told my boss I had my period and my tampon leeked. He said go home then.

I always knew breastmilk had magical powers :o

Who knew we could add "may persuade nervous men to agree with you" to the list of BFing benefits?
