my ds is 8 months, he has been teething really bad but will not feed during the day.he will eat his solids. ive also just remembered that i was told not to eat to much tuna which i have been doing lately. (healthy eating and all that)

babyrose I thought that not eating much Tuna was just when you are pregnant.

Mine both had a phase like that at around that age - just too interested in everything and too easily distractible during the day.

They made up for it at night though Hmm.

baby have you tried giving one of the helplines a call?

babyrose · 25/01/2011 19:45

yeah that sounds the same far too nosey! im lowering solids so he will take more during the day hopefully. even the last feed at night wasnt interested and screaming.
when did they start again?

Ds2 is almost 10 months now and getting a lot better (so long as his brother isn't there!).

I found feeding them in a quiet, not too bright (i.e. boring!) place really helped.

i decided to express this morning, was going to use it with his cereal but decided against it. i tried to give him his nxt milk feed and he just refused i tried both sides then he decided that he would like some but couldnt be bothered waiting. i gave him the milk that i expressed earlier and he took it, so it wasnt that he dosnt want milk he just doesnt want it from me! what should i do?

For me it was pretty helpful to try and offer to a routine - mine did't always take what I offered and then I let it go but I always offered again at the next set time iyswim....did this with both food and bm.

Over time they became more likely to take what was offered.

Hopefully someone else will have a better idea...

Sounds like it could be a nursing strike.

Kellymom has lots of info & suggestions.
