How to get rid of Lansinoh stains?

Thread title says it all really. I have stains on my nice cotton sheets and a favourite pair of pjs - was treating myself to a nice comfy bed to lie in while 10-day old DD cluster fed for 24 hours.

I only found one tip searching old threads on here and that was to put through the wash loads of times. But I already have enough washing to do!

Any suggestions?

Not advice for the current stains sorry - I did find mine came out over time though.

But for future reference, if you lay on a muslin cloth / have a muslin down your top, it does prevent stains :)

I would try rubbing talc in and then washing. Or ironing between something absorbant like kitchen roll. It's basically grease isn't it?

Good luck, I never got the stuff out. More embaressingly, I FORGOT I never got the stuff out, and grabbed an old top to go out when it was hot this summer without really looking in the mirror.

I was getting a few dodgy looks in Debenhams, so looked in the mirror and I basically had wto HUGE stains over each mipple area. It looked very very odd. I was mortified!

Thanks, i'll try the talc and ironing thing. and the top can be recycled for rags if needs be. Though it may be that my nice sheets will forever look as though I've been eating chips in bed...

On the current instructions I've got it says it comes out with very hot water. The stains I had from 18 months back have come out over time though, with 30/40 degree wash.

you cant!!!!! they stay forever! i have 3 ruined tops and 1 bra, wear black now!

on another note its GREAT for lipbalm and hand cream, esp in this cold weather when the central heating hydrates you!
