Question about Royce nursing bra sizing, please!

Does anyone know how Royce nursing bras compare in size to other brands?? I've been wearing Freya ones since my 2nd baby was born, and now after baby #4 was born 6 weeks ago, I've been realising that I was no longer wearing the right size bra! So, finally been measured in Debenhams today to find out that I've gone from a G to an H cup (thankfully down from a 38 to a 36!). A bit annoying since 1) I'd bought 2 new nursing bras before baby was born (one being a lovely HotMilk one which was so tight it gave me a clogged duct! Angry and 2) that Debenhams didn't have anything big enough to fit me!

ANYWAY, shopping online I like the look of some Royce ones. In particular this one:

And then I see Figleaves have a buy 1 get 1 half price sale on Royce (makes it even better! :o)

But when I click on the 36H, I get told it's labelled that but that it's like a UK 36GG, and when I go to a 36J, it says like a 36H. Anyone bought these and know if I really should be buying a 36J?

Thanks in advance for any tips! :)

Am no expert, but think they are a bit smaller than other brands.
I base this on my experience of trying a few different ones and seemed to be 34F but the Royce version was really tight both around my chest and in the cup.
Not sure if it was the sizing or that the fabric seemed to have far less 'give'.
Didn't try a larger size as I didn't like the rigid feel of the fabric.

After trying a few different options, I'm going for Elle McPherson nursing bras again with DS2. Have worn my previous buys for over 2 years now Blush and have found them really comfy and give reasonable support for a non wired bra IMHO.

HTH

They come up small on back size IME but they give fantastic support. The cup size was about right for me.

I will be buying more when I have DC2, I did try Elle McPherson ones but they are too soft and don't give anything like enough support for me (38G)

Not sure if they have the one you want, but if you order from Bravissimo they will exchange as much as you like so you can get the right size. Also their phone operators are great at answering exactly the kind of question you have asked.

thanks for the quick repiles! :) having already had a bad experience with Hotmilk being a smaller cup size to the Freya ones, I'm wondering how wise it is to go with a brand I've never tried before! hmmm

Come to think of it, we're going to Edinburgh next week for children's passports...wonder if I could manage a visit to the Bravissimo shop there! Wink Just not the easiest thing to shop with 4 little ones aged 6wk to 5y - even with husband with me! LOL And I was hoping to get something before then, as feeling a bit squished!

hmm, seems Bravissimo only have 3 nursing bras - you'd think they'd have a better selection!
