Fed up getting crap sleep due to sore neck and back. Can't seem to get comfy when DD attached.

How old is your DD Lynzjam?

Do you have an OH in bed with you who can arrange pillows? I found I'd get uncomfortable after a while unless i had pillows wedged in behind my back and hips so I could relax without rolling back. And something behind ds as well to stop him rolling back

Make sure your head is resting on pillows not your arm, bring your baby down a bit so you don't have to sleep with your arm sticking right up, and using your free arm try to wangle a pillow behind your back.

FWIW it gets easier/comfier as they get older. :)

DD is 6 weeks old today.

Yeh I have a OH with me in bed but I usually put DD to sleep in her own bed first. So in the early hours when I bring her through to feed, OH is asleep.

It's not ideal but it's hard staying awake to put her back to her own bed. Not a fan of co-sleeping but it's saved my life! It's just me and her, OH doesn't get disturbed you see Envy

We got a babydan mesh bed guard which took the worry of her falling out of bed away. She had her own blankets so I didnt have to keep checking to see if she was being covered. I remember with DD1 my neck and shoulders hurt so much as I didnt dare move in the night. Eventually over a few months she would roll away from me at night so I could get a bit more comfortable but the first couple of months were not comfy. DD2 is a thumb sucker and has a comfort blanket so although she likes to sleep in our bed she is not quite so fussed about having close contact with me.
One more thing, I did not feel comfortable sleeping in complete darkness so we had a night light on constantly, I recommend the lindan autofade one as you can adjust it and as they get older set it to fade out after a short while. Smile

just reread your post and realised your post is more about feeding in bed.
I found it just got a lot easier as they grow and have better control themselves. Not much help there, sorry!
