lol!

yes, but it's a damn sight less tiring than colic!

MumInBeds · 16/10/2010 20:34

It's absorbed very quickly, that's the good and the bad thing about nature perfecting the blend. Hopefully your dd2 will settle soon.

ginger2000 · 16/10/2010 20:34

ah yes, i hear that is dreadful.

colic i mean.

Thanks muminbeds-why is it though, that somtimes they can go 3 hours but at other times, need to be feed every 5 mins?

Dunno where it goes

DD cluster fed for the first few weeks - then it settled

She didn't even get super chubbly ...

It does pass - it builds your supply remember

This time last year I was cluster feeding my teeny DD - now she is a giggling, crawling one year old

had just logged on to reassure myself that it is normal to have been feeding DS2 nearly constantly at all times when awake today. I feel your pain!

How old is your dd?

DS2 is only 8 days old, and luckily has slept a few times for a couple of hours today. But whenever he's awake, he's feeding over and over (and over) again.

Same here, all through Strictly and DS1 going to bed. And now finally asleep. Ah no! he's awake again.... off we go again! :)

Hi Picc - DD is nearly 3 weeks old and we have only had this a few times so far but think we are gearing up for it! I remember it from dd1 but had forgotten that it can be a bit frustrating when they keep pulling off etc (its also difficult when you have another child isn't it?)

Thankfully, I think she has settled - took lights and volume off and me lying down to get her off to sleep!

Oh wow! you're doing better than me, then, if it's only happened a few times so far.
I'm trying to reassure myself that it's all okay (he's putting on weight etc), but he does seem to want to feed almost constantly at times.

Oh well... I hope dd stays asleep for you now. I, too, have just resorted to feeding ds lying down on my bed, and will go to sleep next to him now (fingers crossed....)
