Can any one help, were on holiday with my 12 week old sister.

Were relying on boiling water to sterilise the baby bottles, but having just tried it the water is hard and the bottles are co covered in limescale.

What effect will the limescale have on the baby ?

were camping (well mum, dad, sisters, bil and brother are me and dh are in a, very basic static caravan, so no microwave, electric kettle etc) so were boiling water then putting in a big pan adding bottles and teats and boiling for another 5 minutes.

Were hoping to get some sterilising solition for tomorrow, but untill then still need bottles for through out the night, and my mum is worried its going to make her sick.

Thanks for the replies (smile)

Just cover the cleaned bottles etc with boiling water and leave covered for 15 mins, it is the extra boiling that is making the limescale.

If it is Milton liquid then it doesn't need rinsing off but all other brands do.

Also only use in plastic container as it will discolour a pan.
