Dd is just over 13 weeks old. Yesterday she went for her 2nd lot of jabs and was weighed. We've not been in to see hv since last lot of jabs at 9 weeks. Dd weighed in at just over 10lb. She had been on the 25th centile on the girls growth charts. At 9 weeks her weight was a little below the 25th centile line. And yesterday her weightgain had dropped so that she now appears to be on the 9th centile. Hv was a bit freaked and wanted me to go in weekly to get her weighed. But I declined. She'll get weighed again in 4 weeks at her next jabs and I felt more frequent visits would invite unnecessary intervention.

I'm not worried about her weight because
she feeds well
she is bright and alert
even though not crawling (of course) she is really active (arms and legs constantly on the go)
and
it could be a weight aberation.

But I wondered what Mners thought? Just checking that I'm not being blase I suppose!

gglimpopo- sp- I did say IME!!!! I actually did some breastfeeding training with some great ones, but I never got assigned those myself. I got assigned ones who went on leave with no cover available the day the MW signed me off, or who were known for being the scariest poeple alive. I know there are great ones out there, I also know I naturally attract lunatics of all natures!!!!! it's genetic, my Mum has the same problem.
