How to discourage dd not to let her teeth dig in whilst feeding?

dd is nearly 11 months and has recently got her two top teeth. She isn't biting but rather kind of resting her teeth in my nipple so when she comes off the breast I have teeth marks in my poor nip and it feels rather aherm.. painful uncomfortable . It's really putting me off feeding her but I do seem to remember dd2 doing the same and I fed her till she was nearly 2 and had a full set of gnashers so must be something I can past. Just can't remember how..

It's just her top teeth, yeah?

This page is good, it's mostly on biting, but it also talks about top teeth. They suggest making sure she's well supported, so teeth aren't pulling your breast down, and fiddling with the latch (chin more into the breast, nose further away - you can do this by shifting her a bit even while feeding) so her teeth aren't digging in.
