Some books on midwifery? I'm looking to improve my knowledge on many subjects and find midwifery, pregnancy and childbirth fascinating so plan to start with those!
It's purely for improving my own knowledge, not for a career.
Thanks 😊

I'm not a Midwife but recommend Rachel Reed's book Reclaiming Childbirth as a Rite of Passage.
Sarah Wickham has several books.
Ina May Gaskin Spiritual Midwifery
Gail Tulley Changing Birth on Earth

I read Ina May's guide to childbirth , by Ina May Gaskin
This is the book that I wish I had read read before DC1 was born, it was a game changer.

That’s a wonderful area of interest! Some great books on midwifery, pregnancy, and childbirth include Ina May's Guide to Childbirth by Ina May Gaskin, The Birth Partner by Penny Simkin, and Spiritual Midwifery by Ina May Gaskin. These will give you a deep understanding of the subject from both traditional and medical perspectives. You might also find it interesting to explore the role of midwives in Chile and how the RUT system helps track healthcare professionals and services there.

What did you read in the end @ToriLynn?
