Hit me with your most favourite books please. My little one is going through a bit of a weird sleep phase so fancy a good read!

Just read this ....
was brilliant - I'd previously read the authors previous book, "a long goodbye", and that was absolutely brilliant... this one was too!

The Dutch House was brilliant

I'm skim reading it now. I'm about 3/4 through. Tedious doesn't begin to describe it.

The keeper of lost Things was/ is meltingly beautiful. By Ruth Hogan. Particular wisdom of Sally Red Shoes is another full of dark surprises, secrets and SRShoes the bag lady.

Patrick Gale is mentioned above which reminded of another book by this author which I loved. It’s called A Place Called Winter. It was recommended on here like a lot of books I have enjoyed.
