Harrow / Radley drama programme

Hi. Does anyone know which of the two schools' drama programme is stronger and may have a better tertiary education prospect in the drama industry?

And may I ask if anyone has the experience of appyling for drama scholarship at the schools?
What are the assessments like? What do the schools expect from the candidates?
Thank you!

I don’t know anything about the Harrow programme but Radley drama has been great for my boys. They have an annual whole school production - a play and a musical alternate. They work with local girls schools or do a wider casting for the girls (who are always brilliant). Then various years have their own plays (so more likely to get cast) - from memory years 9,10 and 12 but don’t quote me on that. Then you have the Haddon Cup, which is an hotly contested inter-house competition where the new boys act a 10 minute play written and directed by the year 12s in their house - it takes place v soon so is a real rite of passage for the new boys. Plus you have a whole load of other competitions - Declamations (annual school wide competition where they perform a poem or extract), the Peter Cook cup (every other year monologue completion), a play writing competition etc etc etc. Every term is something different, and they love it.
No idea about tertiary options I’m afraid - and from memory the drama scholarships weren’t very daunting. A prepared monologue, a group activity and an interview I seem to remember but it was a while ago!

@Natsume maybe consider thanking the first poster who spent time giving you lots of really helpful information.
