Boarding school for dyslexic rugby playing boy

Can anyone recommend a boarding school for a dyslexic boy who is a good rugby player. We are hoping to find somewhere that will give him proper help with his dyslexia but that might also be good for a non dyslexic quite academic brother. A rugby playing school within an hour and a half or two hours drive of Swindon would be the ideal. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Apols for coming late to the topic…

My rugby-playing son with neurodiverse needs thrived at Millfield (and is now in a top redbrick), as did another non-sporty DC. We are just out the other side with them (last one left in July last year).

I have direct experience of another ‘known’ school, and close friends have kids at Eton, Tonbridge, Oundle, etc. Hand on heart, I think my kids’ Millfield experience has been the best. They were both very different children and both loved their time at the school.

House shout-out for Shapwick - perfect location, great for rugby lovers (without being brutal), the perfect housemaster (caring, dedicated, has the measure of all the boys), and the assistant HM is one of the most popular teachers in the school.

Thank you for this. It’s very helpful to hear of your experience. Millfield was not really on my radar until writing on here. It definitely sounds worth investigating.
