I'm in my late 40's married with three kids. I am Balck British but unfortunately no country of origin to return to, so no second passport.

I lived in various parts of the UK fairly happily all my life but over the past few years have realised the stress that racism has had on my life and my children's.

I am considering moving overseas to a country where we won't be a minority. No second language so thinking probably the Caribbean.

None of my friends feel like this, although many have second passports. I feel trapped and miserable.

Anyone else feeling the weight of decade's long racism ? Or know any supportive sites to help me plan my escape.

Some countries are willing to grant citizenship to those with parental or grandparents from there.

Could the racism be due to where you are living or have you experienced it in several locations? (Sympathy).

Google Ghana. They have scheme where thry have been offering Afrocan American Citizenship. I wonder if that will also apply to you.

I grew up in majority black countries so can definitely appreciate the difference. Have a think about what you want to get out of a move though. There are many options.

Remember that most of the Caribbean islands are small (like the one in your username) so that might require some adjustment.

Liberia, and I think Sierra Leone only grant citizenship to people who are black, and im sure speak english. Look into the history of the creation of Liberia and you will find it interesting.
