you are amazing BB!

your visual blurring and dizzy spells sounds like blood pressure to me - maybe it is dropping quickly? Low iron levels can also make you dizzy. Might be worth mentioning it to someone. It's probably nothing at all though, just your body adjusting back to normal.

BabyBolat · 21/04/2009 12:02

Nutty update:

Apparently contractions have started before going in, had first lot of prostin and going to be checked soon for more prostin or waters popped. She is also dilated but not sure how much xx

surprisenumber3 · 21/04/2009 12:03

ahh BB, thanks for the sympathy

I wouldn't worry about the OJ stain, she won't notice that!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure just Boff.

Going to do a few chores now, take my mind off the fact that I could possibly be pregnant for another 10 days, and will check back in a bit to see if any new babies have arrived!

BabyBolat · 21/04/2009 12:04

Thanks Surprise, have drs next week so will get it all checked out then unless anything changes this week!!

tristaleejac · 21/04/2009 12:04

BB have you been eating well? With feeding Kara it'll take a lot out of you, especially with your DIY at same time
You're possibly low on sugar, vits, iron etc.
You need to rest and eat well, your body's still working really hard.

tristaleejac · 21/04/2009 12:09

Woohoo, shaking pompoms for nutty!!!

A-HEM....

BabyBolat · 21/04/2009 12:09

I have been eating less but good balanced meals (DH is paranoid about it!) just not as much and a fair bit of chocolate too!

Thanks girls - will take it easy today and tomorrow and see if that helps at all!

BabyBolat · 21/04/2009 12:11

LOL purple - yeah surprise rest up!!

tristaleejac · 21/04/2009 12:12

definately take it easy BB, lots of snuggles with Kara on the couch, watching movies

surprisenumber3 · 21/04/2009 12:13

keeping tabs on me purple?

I will move my lazy ass in a min...but first....

My friend just sent me a link to this Madame Zaritska's birth prediction. Apparently I am going to have a boy who weighs 15 lb 10 oz, with light violet eyes and a shock of red hair seeing as me and DH are both blonde with blue/green eyes, that is somewhat scary!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 21/04/2009 12:13

that's the best bit about having just the one i think. when they are tiny like that you can just sit and watch whatver you want. i'm looking forward to many hours of playhouse disney.

tristaleejac · 21/04/2009 12:14

you too surprise! - movies on the sofa!!!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 21/04/2009 12:14

mostly i think the scary bit is that it's going to be FIFTEEN pounds!!!! lol

tristaleejac · 21/04/2009 12:15

ha ha pass on link surprise

surprisenumber3 · 21/04/2009 12:16

lol - terrifying! Also, the fact he will be coming home in pink clothes to a lilac bedroom1

purplemonkeydishwasher · 21/04/2009 12:20

"The day you deliver, outside will be overcast. Your baby will arrive in the late morning. After a labor lasting approximately 17 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 9 pounds, 2 ounces, and will be 18 inches long. This child will have dark blue eyes and a little patch of brown hair."

all sounds likely. except i don't want to give birth to a 9 pounder. 8.14 was enough thanks!

find out what she thinks you will have!

brettgirl2 · 21/04/2009 12:24

Congrats to lulu, first birth of the day

And surprise is going to give birth to a space invader!!!!!!1 .

My prediction is he'll be 7lb1oz with no hair and blue eyes. I suspect I'm as well qualified

BB - are you losing lots of blood still? I lost quite a lot after birth and was quite dizzy/faint for a couple of days. Also you may be a bit anaemic? Maybe try some spatone?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 21/04/2009 12:30

BabyBolat: I had my home birth! 10 days ago now (where has the time gone! ) But just been toooooo busy to be chatting here!

Anyway I was just stopping by to say hello to everyone! 3 little ones make for a very busy mummy, so not found time for keeping up with this thread! But here's a pic of the 3 darlings:
i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk108/rachins_photos/Clement/3darlings.jpg

took the photo first thing yesterday morning, when the 3 of them were all in my bed, in their pjs!

Clement is doing very well and quite content! Mummy's milk is doing a very good job fattening him up too! He lost 7oz by day 3 but had put on 9oz over the next 2 days, to be up over his birth weight and a healthy 9lbs on day 5! And today (day 10) he's now 9lb 10oz! So, I'm very pleased and know that he's getting plenty to eat!

Here is a pic I love of him from last week (4 days old):
i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk108/rachins_photos/Clement/4daysold2.jpg

and this one was 3 days old, all nice and comfy in my ring sling:
i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk108/rachins_photos/Clement/3daysold3.jpg

and me and my 2 boys:
i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk108/rachins_photos/Clement/mummy2boys2.jpg

Will try to catch up soon, and see who all has had their babies! Hope there aren't toooo many of you still waiting - or at least that you get a quick labour soon! xx

surprisenumber3 · 21/04/2009 12:33

aah yes you did Rachel, how could we forget....will have a look at your pics now

Brett- your prediction you have made sounds like my DS2 (apart from he had very fine blonde hair). This time I am banking on a 'she' though

BabyBolat · 21/04/2009 12:33

not really bleeding just spotting a couple of times a day! Will try that! Thanks girls

Purple you have a wait then - apparently going to be lovely weather for another week or so!

surprisenumber3 · 21/04/2009 12:34

Lovely pics Rachel, he is one of the gang already if the first pic is anything to go by!

And that sling looks comfy, have been thinking about getting one of those.

tristaleejac · 21/04/2009 12:34

rachel the pics are great, your little ones are gorgeous

ok I did the prediction thing here's what I got

The day you deliver, outside will be misty. Your baby will arrive in the evening. After a labor lasting approximately 18 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 11 pounds, 6 ounces, and will be 22 inches long. This child will have light brown eyes and curly brown hair.

11 pounds 6!!!!!! Ouch ouch ouch!!!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 21/04/2009 12:35

not here...it's overcast and raining at times...

purplemonkeydishwasher · 21/04/2009 12:36

apparently Madame Zaritska doesn't know that baby's don't have to be HUGE
