Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 18:28

Well perhaps I'm just feeling things differently than you BB... might be how I'm sitting on the couch...

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 18:29

Do you lay down when your pains come BB?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 18:29

Bleu - just pretend like you're worried and go in, i'm sure they would oblige

surprisenumber3 · 27/03/2009 18:31

no baby yet, things are still the same! Apart from a few stabbing pains at top of bump which I really don't like.

DH has come home, built cot, friend on standby to bring car seat over if needed before we pick it up tomorrow.

Nothing seems to be progressing though, think it's a bit like you Bleu, pain coming in waves, watch in amazement as bump grows and tightens. Am really tired from it all though!

BB - congrats on finishing work, bet that feels great...one more week for me

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 18:32

It's really cool to me that period pains were/are a kind of practice for labor... neat to think of one's body working for/practicing for an outcome way ahead of time

BabyBolat · 27/03/2009 18:32

No, I curl up!!

Ah bless her - Is she looking forward to being a big sister?

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 18:34

hmmm sounds like your's are stronger than mine BB and Surprise alike

surprisenumber3 · 27/03/2009 18:35

can I just ask what snacks/drinks you are all going to take? Forgot to take anything last time and DH went to canteen and brought loads of sandwiches and crisps back (which I blocked the gas and air mouthpiece up with - how elegant!).

BabyBolat · 27/03/2009 18:37

No mine aren't regular at all and not too much bump tightening just lots of pain under the bump and around the back -

Oh surprise, you were our best hope!!!

My MW has delayed my appt from Mon to Wed (am at hospital thurs) so no sweep for me until then!!!

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 27/03/2009 18:38

nice surprise!!!

I will probably mostly be eating chocolate....

OP posts:
surprisenumber3 · 27/03/2009 18:38

it's a bit early for me yet though, I'm probably just a hoaxer

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 18:39

Suprise - try and get a bit of shut eye if you can come on baby suprise!!!

Bleu - come on BabyBleu!!!

BB yep she keeps asking when baby is coming (every day!!) , still insisting shes going to call it Rainbow she was going through the "baby drawer" the other day asking if she could put the baby in this outfit and rearranging all the clothes so her fave's were on top (bit of a pain cos i already had it so my faves were on top)

and Suprise & Bleu are neck and neck!! who will reach the finish line first?!? the crowd is going wild with anticipation!!!

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 18:39

Hmmm I have some light, crispy salty crackers and cadbury brunch bars and I was thinking ginger nuts too just incase I get nauseous....

BoffinMum · 27/03/2009 18:40

PMSL @ SuperBoff . Have you seen my thighs? If so you would not be suggesting hotpants, believe me. I would look like the only gay in the village bloke.

Nutty, I think as an educationalist you did the right thing keeping DD off school, btw. She obviously needed her mum.

surprisenumber3 · 27/03/2009 18:41

i've been trying to nap, but DS2 keeps coming in dressed up as another fireman/policeman/woody/buzz and shouting 'mummy look at me!'.

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 18:41

DH wants to put in his special cycling powder (to put in my water) so that I get energy too, though it's awfully expensive, but it does work really well... oh, and I have a grape soda as a special treat too...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 18:42

Suprise - chocolate, ribena/ juice something with a straw anything quick and easy really.

surprisenumber3 · 27/03/2009 18:43

yummy, thanks, will have to stock up!

Have a mental image of loads of pregnant women in hot pants now!

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 18:44

I was thinking popsicles...but we only have the big cooler/ice box and I'm not sure the MWs would appreciate that in the room with us...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 18:44

Boffin a skirt prehaps?? what coulours would a SuperBoff wear btw? wouldnt like to get it wrong

Thanks xx

BabyBolat · 27/03/2009 18:45

BabyBolat · 27/03/2009 18:46

I haven't actually got anything yet but there is a Tesco en route so I am going to try and stop off there and pick up what I fancy!

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 18:47

I think I'm going to wake DH and go run a bath now...I've got some lovely lush stuff from an outing last weekend and might as well put it to use, plus the rolling back is getting stronger... It does rather seem like things are kicking off... but I'm just not sure... I would think I'd feel differently... maybe DH should do some more painting on the cot this evening aye? J I C
