Holyrood park would be great too (that is somewhere I really have had some adventures....)

bronze · 18/02/2009 14:40

PuzzleRocks · 18/02/2009 14:41

Oh dear, what an unsightly bunch.

PuzzleRocks · 18/02/2009 14:42

Oy slow down ladies! I'm trying to catch up!

PuzzleRocks · 18/02/2009 14:46

OMG There are some reallu ugly blokes out there with DH's name. Mine gets no matches.

LuLuBai · 18/02/2009 14:46

Frosty I know very little about fish but I gather mixing new with old is not so good. My FIL tried this and some of the old fish sadly became floating fish . He felt horribly guilty.

But you could always post something on the MN pet forums. I ventured in there not so long ago with some cat queries but hurried out again when I found myself on a thread where people were accusing each other of animal cruelty (no doubt the pets were not breastfed or something ridiculous).

LuLuBai · 18/02/2009 14:48

Oh conker - some of those shenanigans were entirely innocent - like toboganning on a tea tray. Others not so much

bronze · 18/02/2009 14:48

I would give him the better tank but not the friend at his age.

Schulte · 18/02/2009 14:49

BB no my pic isn't up there. I think they're going to put a new team photo on the website soon and I might be in that one. Hope not though because on the day they took it I felt incredibly ugly!

Picnic in the park sounds great, I'm in!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 18/02/2009 14:51

oi you london/richmond lot do us outsiders get to come too?

BoffinMum · 18/02/2009 14:52

It's just an idea, but I could possibly ask my ex if we could borrow his house for a Richmond meet. He has a very grand house and garden that's fab for entertaining, and we happen to be speaking at the moment because he has sorted my health insurance problem. I get on with his girlfriend OK so I think she wouldn't mind. DD could even be prevailed upon to do some catering, perhaps.

Alternatively there is the option of my college for a Cambridge meet.

BabyBolat · 18/02/2009 14:52

OOoh see now I am dying to know who you are!!

No matches for my name either!!!

bronze · 18/02/2009 14:54

boffin are you in cambs then?

LuLuBai · 18/02/2009 14:54

Smutty it's a huge park. I think it could cope with all of us at once. Not sure many venues could!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 18/02/2009 14:54

Ooooohhh Boffin our very own commune for the day!!!!

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 18/02/2009 14:55

Smutty not sure they would let you in to Richmond Love you really!

I think there should be multiple meet ups around the country and whoever can come, comes to each one - with all being invited to all....

PuzzleRocks · 18/02/2009 14:55

Oh wow Boff, yes please.

BoffinMum · 18/02/2009 14:55

Of course. All the boffins are here.

Bleuravin · 18/02/2009 14:55

Ahh finally..took me 50 minutes! and missed the smutty talk yet again! I must say ya'll must not want to hear about Americans and their sexy escapades.

Bronze I liked the second bag.

I'm a third of the way done in the hall. I'll be able to have it back together before DH is home. Yippy! He'll be so amazed.
We went out to Subway for lunch and I made an appointment to get a blue streak put back in my hair next friday. I'm quite excited about another productive day.

conkertree · 18/02/2009 14:55

if a house gets involved and therefore wine etc - i am making the trip from sunny scotland - frekkles, purple, any other scots i missed out - we could get a cheap ticket to london and terrorise the carriage with three screaming babies until we got it to ourselves.

frostyfrekkles · 18/02/2009 14:56

ok, i'm going to ask the good people of freecycle for a new tank for him. but allow him his solitude.

it's gone all lovely and sunny in the last 5 mins. does look spring like out there. must let it permeate my soul and make me smile.

the only nadrew experiences i've had are two unrequited love affairs . the first when i was nine and so was he. The second many years later, a different andrew who was married, and luckily we were too righteous and respectful of each other to ever entertain our own feelings or fully acknowledge the others .
