Hi

Just got my BFP this morning (Merry Christmas!)

My last club has a brilliant community that's still super active, and it was (and is!) such a good support both during pregnancy and beyond.

Thought it worth starting a thread for Septmeber 2025, if anyone wants to join.

Congratulations everyone!

I’m also due in September - this is my first and it’s all mildly terrifying!

When are people thinking of telling their work? I’d prefer to wait until the 12 weeks scan (older mother, non-trivial risk of miscarriage…), but if the dreaded morning sickness rears its head I may have to fess up earlier…

Thank you for setting this up @Whatsthatcatdoing and so sorry to see your last post.

@BishopOakAntiques congratulations 🎊 welcome along! I told my work straight away but only my line manager because its healthcare related.

@zozozoe123 those early scans are so reassuring! Glad all is well 🙂

Ladies, how is everyone doing? Hit the 9week mark today and am definitely feeling it. Sickness has been pretty bad again this pregnancy but I got onto the tablets very quickly this time rather than riding it out,and it's really helped. The tiredness however with a very active toddler is next level...I pray for nap time just to be able to lie down 😂
Hoping you're all keeping well, and looking forward to seeing some of those first scans x

I had an early scan yesterday, 9+2, Little heartbeat. Told the kids when we got home: 8yo is thrilled but anxiety is kicking in for her and already having to help her manage that whilst 5yo is processing still; though 5yo spent today carrying around her best friends baby doll so I think she'll be okay despite being meltdown-y 😬 she's a bit all over the place the past week bless her.

Insomnia and nausea still rife, though thankfully no vomiting, I've been quite lucky with that with my older two as well. I'm being sustained by cheese and bread/breadsticks still, so veganuary just went completely out of the window 🙈

I don't work as kids needs are impossible to work around, so don't need to worry about that this time thankfully. I remember telling my boss the first time around at 6/7 weeks because she was concerned that I was basically eating pretzels all day and nothing else. Second time around I was self employed as a childminder but also doing this hideous sleepover job too, so I binned that one off pretty much immediately and gave my families a lot of warning as I stopped working at 7 months. I was still carting around a double buggy and my then large 2yo in a sling on my back at that point. Insane. Now I'm achey from an afternoon at the allotment pulling up brambles 😅

So I'm scared and excited at the same time EED sept 29
Already had a scan as I'm classed as high risk.

Is anyone else doing this alone?

Hope everyone's ok, anyone had their 12 week scans? Mine was today and I'm 12+5 EDD officially 6th September!

Sturnidae · 27/02/2025 21:37

I had mine last week but they want to rescan next week as baby was small, which isn't reassuring after baby measuring well at 9 weeks but baby was jumping around so there's that at least!

Aw hopefully they were just too active to get a proper measurement then and positive they were jumping about and you get to see them again soon 🥰

Hi all can I please anxiously join? 🥰

EDD 4th September - I'm still feeling super nauseous and exhausted, I'm almost 15 weeks 🫠

Congratulations to everyone!
