Hey Smile
After some advise on the Stokke Xplory if anyone has had one? With my first I had a Joolz which was great, granted you hardly use the carrycot bit. I've seen the stokke which looks lovely (havent yet tested it out)
Is it fiddly? Can you get it in the car boot with ease? Any reviews would be great.
My other choice was the doona for ease, but it would also mean buying another pushchair with that wouldn't it.

I had one and it was brilliant, but it doesn’t fold down super small. But I mostly walked with it and took it on the train and it was amazing. My kid loved it and never complained about getting into it. Used it for years till she outgrew it.

We looked at it. What I really didn't like about it was the lack of a proper basket.

We got the Stokke Crusi with our first which we loved but didn't work for double configuration so for an uppa baby vista.

I adore the vista!

I’ve bought one and love it - I have quite a small Car boot (Lexus ct200h) and it fits and I found it quite easy to go up and down - I went to try one out in Leeds if you’re anywhere near there?

I used to sell these prams, I adore them. But they certainly attracted a "type" of mum. They are very stylish, more of a show piece than a practical pram. That's not to say they aren't good, they're well designed, sturdy and the kids love being high up. The down sides are poor suspension and it's very heavy. Looks wise I think it's amongst the best but you have to ask if it will suit your life style. If you like woodland walks and outdoorsy stuff, I'd give it a pass. If you like having the swanky looking posh pram for coffee shop dates and mooch around Waitrose, it's pretty perfect.

I have one and love it but it is difficult to fit into my tiny hatchback. I have to take everything off including the cup holder and wheels. The pram seat lays almost flat, so if I had my time again I’m not sure I’d buy the carrycot. In the EU the pram seat is fine from birth but they have different regulations in the UK.

I disagree that they are just for swanky mums. Mine went to the woods, the beach and through snow. No, it’s doesn’t have the sort of suspension a jogging buggy has, but you don’t need it.

It’s easy to get on a train or bus by yourself and the high up child position is great for interaction.

Maybe I’m that “type” of mum though 🤔
