Hi, I am in my 27th week but still not vaccinated against covid yet. I am considering getting the vaccine but still nervous and undecided. Any thoughts or experience of the same from others?

I'm 8+6 after IVF, my clinic told me to go ahead and get vaccinated whatever stage of the process we were at, whether during treatment or after a positive, as the risks of covid during pregnancy, especially later stages, are so high. I'll be getting a booster as soon as I can as I don't want to risk getting sick if I can possibly avoid it.

You should get vaccinated. The latest studies show it doesn’t affect pregnancy outcome (miscarriage) but does save lives of mothers/babies by protecting them against Covid. The mother passes (temporary) immunity to the newborn.

I was 29 weeks when I had my first vaccine and I was realky nervous and read loads online but I'm so glad I've had them both now knowing im protecting the baby puts my mind at ease.

Thank you all for the advice and assurances. I will definitely put the nerves aside and get the vaccine.
