Jademoroc · 19/01/2020 21:58

Lilice · 20/01/2020 21:40

@LauMoore sorry about you miscarriage. im going to book a scan for when im 10 weeks along with the harmony test. Are you going to do one too?

MommyCuddles · 20/01/2020 21:49

@Lilice I know so hard!!! I think 12week scan don't want to jinx it. And it's nice sharing the excitement just me and the hubby Biscuitwhat about you?

Lilice · 20/01/2020 22:58

@MommyCuddles probably the same, ill wait until the first scan just to make sure everything is okay. Seems like ages away though! I might tell one friend who knows i was ttc. If anything happened, i could count on her support

MommyCuddles · 21/01/2020 13:29

Visited the doctor today to confirm all.. still early days as I'm 5weeks. So blood test planned in for end feb to get the ball rolling. Anyone else been to their first doc app? Biscuit

Lilice · 21/01/2020 14:07

I called first thing this morning to get an appointment but couldn't get through. Hopefully ill get a phone appointment at some point this week. @MommyCuddles Is the blood test with the midwife?

MommyCuddles · 21/01/2020 14:46

@Lilice no blood test is with the local Doc and then we organise the 12 week scan after that. Got the flu vaccine too today so that's one box ticked off! Was nervous going on but she put me completely at ease. Grin

Sk191 · 21/01/2020 17:43

Hi everyone, just thought I'd message. I had my booking in appointment scheduled for next Friday but I've been spotting since saturday. So they've booked me in for an early scan on Friday...its my first so I have no idea what to expect. And my symptoms in general have been minor but now they're almost non existent. I dont mean to bring people down on this thread but any advice would be appreciated. I'm 6+2 today if anyone can help, just feeling really anxious. Thanks ladies xx

Jademoroc · 21/01/2020 19:19

@Sk191 bless you fingers crossed everything will be ok try and just rest as much as you can I know it’s easier said then done with everything else you probably have to do but I know the feeling that was me 3 times in a row I’m currently roughly 4+2 days with this pregnancy and I’m getting light cramps and can’t help but worry.

Sk191 · 21/01/2020 19:24

Thank you @Jademoroc. It's so scary, I dunno I had visions of pregnancy which are obviously not true. It feels like it's generally exciting but so nerve wracking, and cus my body is doing things I have no experience of I have nothing to measure against. I think cramping is quite common week 4 and 5 due to implanting...I've been googling every symptom going. Friday cant come soon enough!

Lilice · 21/01/2020 21:30

@Sk191 fingers crossed everything fine on Friday. I've always had cramps at the beginning of my pregnancies and I know a lot of people who spotted at the beginning and went on to have healthy pregnancies . Try not to worry too much if you can, i know it's hard, I hope that Friday will come quickly for you

daniellemc7 · 21/01/2020 22:27

@Sk191 I had the same and it's so scary! This is my first pregnancy and I'm roughly 9 weeks at the moment. I had a bleed couple of weeks back and instantly thought the worst! They wouldn't scan me until the next week so I paid for a private scan just to put my mind at ease. My scan went great and they told me it was an implantation bleed which is totally normal about the 6-7 week mark. Honestly try not to worry hun I know it's easier said than doneSmile hope Friday comes round quick for you xx

Sk191 · 22/01/2020 07:46

@Lilice and @daniellemc7 thank you both. Hopefully on Friday I get some positive news and my mind put to rest. Thanks though, its reassuring that seeing something like spotting can be totally normal so hopefully that's what it is. Hope the rest of your first trimesters go well! Xx

MommyCuddles · 24/01/2020 15:37

Hi All, Just looking for some advice on eating I am 5W so still very early but I have no hunger for food, no MS though! Just no appetite at all but drinking loads. Anyone else the same? Thanks Biscuit

Bubble29 · 24/01/2020 16:49

@MommyCuddles I'm exactly the same. Also 5 weeks. I've only lost my appetite this week. I be totally gone off my usually breakfast of porridge and can't eat breakfast now until 10 and have turned to crumpets.

I'm making sure I eat but just having smaller portions to try and keep my energy levels up and to make sure I have the correct nutritions.

MommyCuddles · 24/01/2020 17:33

@Bubble29 yip pretty much the same. I am terrible for eating my greens so I am struggling to get them in me now... any supplements I wonder could I take for that? You get your veg intake ok?

Bubble29 · 24/01/2020 17:54

I'm only taking folic and Vit D.

I normally steam a stir fry veg packet in the microwave at work and have that with tuna but read you should only have 2 tins a week so I'll need to find an alternative 😞

MommyCuddles · 24/01/2020 18:05

@Bubble29 I'm the same with supplements. Just as struggle for veg need to see how I can get that in my diet! Sad

Lilice · 24/01/2020 20:27

@MommyCuddles i have the opposite problem, im eating too much. I gave up vaping when i found out and kind of compensating. Im going to the gym to burn the extra calories but too scared of something bad happening. Everytime I exercice i get cramps behind my pubic bone and I start worrying. I know everything says to keep exercising but I can't help worrying and in the end im not even sweating and feel like it's a waste of time! Luckily i love veg so im still eating healthy. If you struggle incorporating them, you could maybe have a veg smoothie or a soup? Or cook them in the slow cooker with a nice sauce.

Lilice · 24/01/2020 20:28

@Sk191 how did you get on? I hope all is well for you x
