You lot are so funny!

Any more pressies arrived?

bumperlicious · 02/04/2007 22:17

Mars I am back to take you up on your kind offer of helping us out with our June Shower. It's a fab idea and your help would be really appreciated. It's late though (in pregnancy world anyway!) and I'm off to bed so hopefully I will catch you tomorrow and pass on the details.

Many thanks

Pebblemum · 03/04/2007 10:46

I got my secret shower parcel today

Its a gorgeous pink/cream blanket. My LO now has something pink and girly!!! Thank you whoever you are, i will now have to try and work it out.

Also loved the card, the girl on the front looks just like me lol, especially the massive bump

aprilmeadow · 03/04/2007 11:55

I have my stork pressie as well. Gorgeous little pink dress, pink and white muslins and some smellies.

THNAK YOU

aprilmeadow · 03/04/2007 11:55

or THANK YOU even

MarsLady · 04/04/2007 21:42

Any more??????????????

Creena · 05/04/2007 12:44

My stork present arrived today - thank you so much, whoever you are, secret stork person!!

It was beautifully wrapped in some blue tissue with lovely blue ribbons adorning it. Inside were the cutest little blue body suits and an excellent pair of dungarees! My son, who has been mad keen on helping me to buy things for his little brother, cried out "Excellent - some dungers!!" They are just so lovely and cute - thank you so much!

I have no idea who my secret stork is. All I know is that the parcel was post marked North London but that's where most of you live, though!!

twelveyeargap · 07/04/2007 20:12

Thank you, thank you, thank you secret Storky!

Beautiful handmade card... (first clue to sender)

SUCH a gorgeous package with all the little bits wrapped up individually in tissue paper in a gorgeous box. And Aoife's first toy! Yay!

Sat in bed after the postie came, scoffing the packet of dried fruit and planning to have a bath tonight to use all the lovely little mummy pampering bits.

I think it might have been Aprilmeadow, as she said before that she changed a present for lots of little bits and also was talking about making cards early last week.

Anyway, whomever you are; I love my pressies.

anneme · 11/04/2007 00:32

My baby shower pressie is LOVELY - thank you so much to my secret sender. I LOVE the doudou (spelling?) and the little book is v sweet. In the interests of research have already started on the choc. YUM. I know that you had trouble sending the parcel so I hope you can now relax knowing that the Post Office has done its job.

Hee hee - I know that the pressie I sent has arrived. I posted it whilst we were on holiday so the post mark will not give any clues....

anneme · 11/04/2007 00:33

PS thank you so much Mars for organising this

MarsLady · 11/04/2007 00:53

You are all more than welcome!

scootermum · 11/04/2007 13:14

Found thread at last!
Glad my person got theirs! Can stop writing my proposed complaint to Royal Mail now!

Mrsjaffabiffa · 11/04/2007 14:27

My parcel arrived today. Thank you secret shower person, I know who you are! They are just what I needed as very difficult to get here.

ShowOfHands · 13/04/2007 13:51

Thank goodness my person got theirs. Only took a week to get from here to there recorded delivery. Farking Royal Mail.

Glad you liked

Assume the Norfolk postmark gave me away!

dejags · 13/04/2007 13:52

sort of wondering why I didn't know about this. I wasn't asked to participate at all.

ShowOfHands · 13/04/2007 13:55

Hey dejags!

Mars set it up, posted on one of the May threads and asked anybody who wanted to participate to email her their details and it went from there.

I'll send you something in a non-secret way- would like to! Thought about you a lot while I've been on holiday and that poor cat. SA sounds like something to be endured. Is there anything you'd like from Blighty?

MarsLady · 13/04/2007 22:09

Oh dejags... I'm sorry you missed out.

If any other May mums missed out and wanted to do a quick secret shower I'm happy to oblige again.

dejags · 16/04/2007 06:14

oh bless you both, but I don't really need anything (3rd timer who didn't get rid of one single item of baby paraphenalia in 6 years).

Mars - I didn' realise you were pregnant. When are you due?

cinnamontam · 16/04/2007 11:41

I completely forgot to put this here but posted somewhere in the week.

My pressie was lovely. I scoffed the extremely yummy chocolate immediately

The little outfit is gorgeous and I'll definitely see what other stuff they have. Thank you, thank you - but have no idea who you are...own up. Put a pregnant women out of her curiosity please

cinnamontam · 16/04/2007 11:45

BIG BIG apologies to my return storkee - I finally made it to the Post Office on Saturday and it was successfully mailed. It has been sitting next to the front door for 10 days and every time my pregnant brain sailed past it and I'd remember halfway to work that I'd forgotten YET AGAIN to pick it up.

Will be with you today or tomorrow - fingers crossed
