We've now welcomed mini sun, dawn, kat, zazou and selfies (please tell me I haven't missed anyone...)....who will be next?!

Those of us waiting impatiently will be showing down on dates, pineapple, RLT and curry while having awkward whale sex.

sugar if you're reassembling old pushchairs etc are you planning to wash them at all? I got a second hand set and was wondering how/if I could do the covers.

shropsI'm in awe. A half hr walk to the hopital the other day wiped me out. You are a machine!

I am an emotional wreck after watching coronation street.

I can't believe how much stuff you lot are doing, I had to have a sleep after popping to asda earlier I feel like an old lady.

glitterhoops · 20/01/2014 22:17

Sugarmice Ah I see what you mean. I could have the 13th or 14th Feb - however I was thinking earlier about whether or not to opt for Mon the 10th (if they'll allow it), I'll be 38 weeks exactly so they should do...
Like you I can do pretty much nothing, which is why I took my nesting out on my filling. There was a lady who posted she went on two super uphill walks with her dogs - oh if only I could do stuff like that! These next 3 weeks would go so much faster. I guess its down to getting (another) good box set and sitting it out.

Baby Louis born Saturday night, 9 days early. All fine and very happy at home now. He's gorgeous!

Tips for hospital bag - sports bottle for water, I got through tons! Better than asking for glasses all the time. Lots of those massive maternity pads for afterwards...

laura0007 · 20/01/2014 22:32

Congratulations ch!
There are going to be more Jan babies than Feb at this rate! Legs crossed until February the rest of you, are you listening?!

me neither champs Sad

I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable/off colour, wondering if the leukocytes in my urine earlier = uti, as it feels like it might be. They sent my sample off for testing, so I'll guess I'll hear soon.

I can't wait until we have new babies keeping us awake instead of pregnancy insomnia.

rueyrichardson · 21/01/2014 04:13

Congrats ch! Love the name too. Awake at 4am before a manic day at work, not good. 4 days until mat leave, although I have another consultants appt tomorrow so have to take another afternoon off - just elongates my day grrrrr

LittlePandaBear · 21/01/2014 04:16

Congrats ch! Now we have 3 boys and 3 girls! When you can let us know how the birth went and his weight etc, hope you're both ok.

Another one who has woken at 4 and too uncomfortable to get straight back to sleep with baby wriggling. I agree eeyore, it will seem better to be awake to feed baby in the night. Not too long to wait now.

And thanks Petty for talking about your ds going to the childminder too. It's definitely the right thing to do as it's good for both of us so she gets to do activities and play with other kids and I'll get to spend time with the baby and baby groups etc. I think she's just used to routine and as she normally stays for dinner she was upset to leave early, especially as I picked her up just after the childminder's school run so she didn't get a chance to play with the older kids. Nothing like Dh to give me some perspective when I told him I'd got upset!

LittlePandaBear · 21/01/2014 04:25

The thread is busier than during the day! What is it about 4am?

Thingymajigs · 21/01/2014 04:36

Good morning insomniacs.
Congratulations ch! Can't wait to hear your birth story. Smile
Time seems to be dragging now doesn't it? I woke up yesterday feeling fine and happy to enjoy the last two weeks of peace but by midday I was fed up and googling natural induction techniques. I've organised some playdates for ds2 which annoyed me because I felt like I should expect to have had the baby by then but life goes on. Lots of very strong BH's yesterday and weird cervical sensations which no doubt indicates labour will be a minimum of 25 days away (40+12). It's just not possible to be patient in late pregnancy is it? MW's later so she can bring me back to reality by saying the baby is still not engaged. How is everyone filling their maternity leave time?

I ended up sleeping for 1 hour, resulting in a migraine, and then having to do 12 hours worth of funeral planning and sorting out stuff. Currently still struggling to sleep, and waking up every few hours when my painkillers stop working. Hope I'm not in for several days with this -.-. Also have to head off for a chat with the vicar and more planning iiin about 4 hours.

candy I hope you recover from your cold quickly! Not the best of times to get ill, is it!

marzi DTD sounds awkward! I've given up for the time being, just doesn't feel right or good or anything! Will attempt again in a few weeks, when we want to speed baby up ;P

petty fingers crossed your husband won't miss it this time!

Littleen · 21/01/2014 05:27

Ohh congrats Ch !!!
