(The antenatal wards are an eye opener aren't they? Southmead is a really deprived area of Bristol, and we saw the dark side of life in that place.)

Sending labour inducing vibes, quick quick!!! Hope those pessaries are doing their job x

Sorry ted I mean 'just' as in 'only', as in I've only had the pessaries, nothing else.

Things keep stopping and starting so they're waiting for some space on labour ward to crank things up again.

Ahhh, fair enough, I thought they had left you waiting. I was getting all indignant on your behalf!

Once they crank that drip up things will start motoring. Or if the pessaries get you to 4cm they may go straight to breaking waters.

I hope it happens tonight. Thinking of you and the husband!

In other news, ds3 has hit a screaming patch. He can scream at a glass shattering pitch for as long as he pleases. I had to take all 3 to the vet tonight as cat has skin problems. He screamed in the sealed room and the vet was visibly wincing and shaking her head to try and clear her ears before jabbing poor kitty with the needles. We came out and the waiting room was agog. Staring and wide eyed at us as we shuffled out. He was still screaming. I am weary tonight.

Oh poor you ted that sounds like a traumatic trip to the vet. Hope your ds sleeps well tonight.

Baby boy born this morning at 2.37am!! Had EMCS in the end as the cord was wrapped round his neck twice.

7lbs 9.

Just seen your mssg! That was a speedy check out! Love that you are on your way home How was the journey home from hospital? I remember it all being very surreal and couldn't stop crying. I was a hormonal mess!

Wonderful you are heading home winkle. Definitely the best place for you all. Enjoy being waited on by DH....

Just remember .. No public facing role is to be attempted on Day 3 .. You WILL cry and there WILL be snot. Learn from my (sad, bitter) mistake!
