Up early here too. Have spurned a lie-in as I felt so awful yesterday when I finally got up - v.annoying, but have promised dds a trip out to a local car boot anyway, so probably for the best Smile
Vix by no change do you mean no more spotting? Is there anyway you could get a referral to a local early pregnancy unit? I was you 3 wks ago so I know how wretched you must be feeling xxx
Ariel sickness (if it's going to happen) generally kicks in between 6-8 wks for most people. Mine started at 5 wks (but I suffer from hyperemesis and am on meds) and I know that for HG sufferers sickness does tend to kick in earlier than usual.

honey86 · 24/03/2013 08:24

mine kicked in about 6 weeks or so. PROPER kicked in at 7.

morning ladies Smile on go my anti sickness bands x

vix206 · 24/03/2013 08:44

Diege, there's been (and continues to be) a little bit of brownish spotting. Its very light, I did have one bright red strand yesterday afternoon but so far nothing else other than pale brown. I am sitting pretty until tomorrow when I see the midwife at 10.30 and then I will ask for an early scan to check all is ok. This waiting is so hard, I am trying not to panic but so scared.

Alwaystheauntie · 24/03/2013 08:49

Morning all. Aries - I was felling quite good about my relative lack of sickness, then I hit 6 weeks on Thursday and am now wishing I was back at 5 weeks! I have spent the last 2 days lying down and living on soup cos I can't face the thought of solid food (lost 5 lbs though - bonusGrin). And the tiredness... I have slept more in the past 2 days Hanoi have for a week. There is a reason that no-one tells you about the first three months of pregnancy I reckon!

Am off to buy some new bra's today. My boobs have got massive! And soooo sore. My OH has been threatened with death if he goes Anywhere near them. I had a dream last night that he squeezed hem really hard so I divorced him Grin. Poor lamb. He can't do anything right at the moment.

Alwaystheauntie · 24/03/2013 08:50

Ha. Don't know where Hanoi came into that comment. Stupid predictive text!

BeQuicksieorBeDead · 24/03/2013 09:07

Hello all, can I join? Did a test yesterday and am about 5 +1, due November 25th according to fertility friend. I had an mmc at 12 weeks last year so already knicker checking and talking myself down every ten minutes! This will be our first baby.

Oh to make things more interesting, December wedding is booked and paid for!

It is really lovely to see some familiar names on here from other threads.

Right off to gorge on leftover curry now.

Dizzy81 · 24/03/2013 09:22

Morning all,

Vix, take it easy.

Mini cheddars and fizzy pop for breakfast here!!! Every time I move the stomach and the brain send conflicting information.

I may have to send the husband out for a sickness band, thick strawberry milkshake and my firm fab salt and vinegar crisps!

Theicingontop · 24/03/2013 09:46

McDonald's vanilla milkshake... Oooooooohhh
Dizzy you evil vixen.

Saundy · 24/03/2013 09:47

Good morning all and welcome Be

Not long to wait now Vix so hang in there, theres nothing too dramatic going on (amount/colour) so thats something at least.

Haha Bang I like the idea of you hanging around bust stops more, maybe looking for other pg women with increasing bra sizes you can blurt it out too Wink

I have to say as well that When & Fairy have really put me off sexy time now, is it up to a certain time that can happen or any week?!

Don't worry about the nausea Ariel I'm 7+2 and have felt unsettled but nothing I would go as far as to describe as nausea. The last few days I've suddenly had to run to the toilet in the morning to retch but haven't actually been sick. Anyway I had a scan at 6 weeks and its there with a little beating heart so I would see the lack of sickness as a good thing, not everyone gets it.

I wish I had your appetite Harv nothing appeals at the minute, I can't finish a meal. Jelly does sound like a stroke of genius though Arty I rec I could defo go for some of that. Mmm Jelly and ice cream. Just FORCED down some rice crispies for breakfast - not so good.

I can't believe you're only just getting your mood swing on Dizzy it was my first symptom!! After the initial negative test DP kept saying 'are you sure you're not pregnant?' apparently I was quite aggressive which is not like me. Turns out the test was wrong!

Have taken today off work, still feeling ropey. I know we're lucky but I really didn't expect pregnancy to be this crappy this quickly, I hope it doesn't start as it means to go on!!

Dizzy81 · 24/03/2013 09:59

Theicing, it's the only thing that settles my stomach, honest. :-d

Saundy, my work colleagues have noticed it more as one minute I'm nice as pie then I fly off the handr at the slightest thing. Dh probably hadn't noticed it much as most evenings I'm asleep my 8.30! Enjoy your day off today if it's possible?

The dh has just woken up and laughed at. Y demands for a McDonald's milkshake!

MummaPanda · 24/03/2013 10:38

Owww now I want a mcdonalds milkshake Envy thanks guys. Hehe

Morning ladies

I feel like I've been on the drink all night! Pineapple is my weapon of choice today I think. I've lost my appetite big style and seem o get full up v quickly too for some reason?!

Def incubating a chest infection so to the GPs AGAIN tomorrow - I should have a loyalty card! Counting the hours until our scan on Thursday...

BeQuicksieorBeDead · 24/03/2013 10:58

I had a craving for vanilla milkshake last week, before bfp... Stranger though was the urge to dip my fries in it! Try it, it's a beautiful thing.

Fairydogmother · 24/03/2013 10:59

I'm the odd one out here - I cannot abide milk!

harverina · 24/03/2013 11:02

Laughing at you telling random strangers bangon! Haha!

We are just heading out to ikea to buy a new rug and shop for some birthday presents for dd's 3rd birthday. 3 years ago I would have been sitting with a very big bump! Now I am sitting with a bundle of joy next to me and a tiny bean inside!

Vix hope your ok this morning x

harverina · 24/03/2013 11:08

When I was pregnant last time I couldn't get enough milk especially third trimester. My dd has a severe milk allergy so we don't have any in the house. It's been so long since I've had a glass of milk or lots of raw dairy I don't know how I would feel about it. Has anyone tried to Burger King chocolate milk shake? AMAZING!!!!

harverina · 24/03/2013 11:10

Sorry to post again but fairy just saw your comment about you feeling like you've been on the drink...when we were at he pub for dinner last night the thought of drinking made me want to be sick. My drink of choice is cava (or champagne but sadly my salary won't stretch to that!!) and the thought of cava makes me feel ill Hmm

OneLittleToddleTerror · 24/03/2013 11:31

Morning all. I have tried milkshake yet, but I would highly recommend Ben & Jerry. I still couldn't finish my dinner last night, but wolf down a huge bowl of b&j. And probably half a pack of milk chocolate digestives.

vix hope everything is ok with you.

I'm looking forward to an afternoon nap today.

suprisepitstop · 24/03/2013 12:02

I went for dinner last night with a group of mates. dinner wasnt until 8.30 which is prime sickness tiredness for me. sitting in the restaurant, the heat, the noise, the smell of the wine and food, plus the guy next to me had horrendous breath (and very dull stories). my food arrived, and the world started spinning. i went outside and was heaving and i had to run away without eating and go home
and i love my food!! i feel so bad they must think i am such a drama queen!!

Fairydogmother · 24/03/2013 12:07

Surprise that's awful! Poor you! But couldn't be helped - if you gotta leave you may as well do it in style lol

Harverina I couldn't even smell wine let alone drink it! Actually that's a good thing as I love wine! I was worried about really missing it but I def don't.

I've no idea what I'll have for dinner today as nothing appeals and I know I'll hardly eat any of it...

CheeseandGherkins · 24/03/2013 12:32

Ooh I bought some milk choc digestives yesterday. I'm tired as usual and feeling sick. Lots of snow, kids tried sledging but they couldn't as it was too soft and deep and they were frozen even all wrapped up.

Need to get dinner on soon, having a roast, but I'm lacking motivation. Must get off the sofa...

2 days until my scan. So worried and paranoid that there will be no heartbeat/s.

Fairydogmother · 24/03/2013 12:41

Poor cheese - fingers xd for and the beans

Mistyshore · 24/03/2013 12:42

Vix best of luck with the midwife tomorrow x

I've got a terrible diet normally, I don't drink milk at all but I'm craving bowls of cereal when I don't feel sick. It's strange how your body tells you what it needs.

I miss wine!

vix206 · 24/03/2013 12:46

Full on bleeding now so I'm not going to need to see a midwife tomorrow. I wish you all the best, no more bad news on this thread please girls. Take care xx

Fairydogmother · 24/03/2013 12:50

O god vix I'm so sorry. Can you get medical help?

Lots of hugs x
