Amelia Rose was born on Tuesday morning at 11.26 am weighing 8lb's exactly. I am totally smitten!
That head smell thing has got me again!!

For those who like the details

After waking up a few times on Monday night feeling crampy, dp and i decided to go straight into hospital at about 8 a.m on Tuesday morning with contractions about 5 minutes apart(as i'd had dd one pretty quick).
Got there and examined and was 5 cm's dilated and got changed and given the gas and air. I went till about 10a.m and then asked about pethidine but asked her to examine me first as i wanted to see how far i'd come on. She was not keen to {?} and i said i'd leave it a bit. By about 11 i was in agony and could take no more but then found that the pad i had on was soaking and then she examined me, (she'd just returned with the pethidine), and said, "you're 10 cm's, do you feel like pushing?" and dd was born 9 minutes later
I have to say, even though they tryed forceps with dd1, i was given an injection but for this one, i felt EVERYMILIMETRE of her head coming out!!

So, there you have it, was home by 7 p.m that night.
Am off for a cuddle now as dd1 is at nana's till 4 so i'm gonna smell Amelia for a while++++++++++
