Lovely, lovely name. How was the birth? When did you have her? If I remember correctly she has made her appearance a little early.

Yes it's normal to be too tired to think!

just a quick question, she has been sleeping/waking every 3 hours, but has is staying awake longer and sleeping less now, is this normal?

OP posts:
BarbieLovesKen · 05/09/2008 14:30

Completely normal!! (well was for us anyway!) She is just becoming more "alert" I would imagine and from my experience all babies sleep alot more at the beginning after the big trauma of being born (tis hard work

She is absolutely beautiful!! congratulations pet xx

callmeovercautious · 05/09/2008 22:04

Yes they become more alert - as if they are getting over the shock of it all If you are BFing it may also have something to do with the change from colostrum to milk at about day 3. I hope she is doing well

Nappyzoneneedssleep · 05/09/2008 22:32

awwwwwwwwwwww another cutey - congratulations

rusmum · 10/09/2008 09:31

aSlurOnBrilliantScientists · 10/09/2008 09:34

Congratulatons! Oh yes so tired your eyes droop when feeding, ah fond memories.

Some hormone partic during feeding, it'll pass and settle into a (barely) acceptable level of eternal tiredness
