Baby not due until 22nd Jan, Riley John born today 01.20am. Big shock as Dd was 11 days late, and they say boys are lazy! Also same dad so no reason as why this one was 10 days early - mix up with dates maybe. Easy birth of just 4hours start to finish - no time even for an epidural and I was looking forward to having one again! 9lb exactly same as sister!!! He's gorgeous only I don't know what you do with BITS! Not an aquarian, but dh is capricorn so some experience with them! Shattered now got home not long ago. Babes sleeping, dd over nans - me bath and bed!!!

Congrats ! Just watch out for the 'hosepipe' effect from the 'Bits' when you take a nappy off !!
DS managed to get a direct hit on the HV !!

Bits are easier to clean IMO than a girl's bits. They are more visible IYSWIM. Mind you I am speaking as a mum of three boys and only one girl so I have more experience of boys' bits!
BTW, congratulations. Very impressed that you were able to post about the birth only hours after it took place. What a super mum you must be!

Thank you everyone. He has a really lovely way with him. He sleeps at the most convienent times, an hour during dd's bathtime and bedtime routine. He sleeps for three hours 9 til 12 then has a feed, and settles again until 05.30am for another feed then wakes when dd does at 07.30am. He hardly cries. Dd not taken with him at all though - but he gets most of attention from friends a relatives, so bit of jealousy going on. He loves cuddles - dd was never a cuddly baby prefered lying in moses basket to being handled. Feeds well, i'm breast feeding - couldn't with dd. Much easier baby, than dd although not quite so with it - could tell very early on that dd was a bright little thing and has proved us right. However very happy, didn't think i could ever love someone as much as i did Grace (dd)but i love Riley just as much - i am a very lucky mummy!
