Congratulations .

Are we allowed to know the name?

tribpot · 15/06/2007 13:10

auntymandy, I think people are wanting the detail that seems too trivial to you on number 6. Stuff like: got up at 4 a.m. and had a bath, thought labour was getting started and then it kind of stopped again. Spoke to trib at 11 who unkindly predicted ds5 was trying to hang on to share birthday with her ds (not til 22 June).

In the afternoon it started up again and by 10-ish was in full pelt, unable to move off bed (if your dh is to be believed anyway!). Rushed off to hospital and straight into labour room, et voila, baby arrived.

lulumama · 15/06/2007 13:27

Congratulations (and well done) auntymandy. Looking forward to hearing what you've called him.

auntymandy · 17/06/2007 13:27

now I am on a better keyboard I can now type.
Can I point out having number 6 is not trivial in any way!!! Each birth is unique and special as is each child. The reason there was no long drawn our#t story was because there was no long drawn out birth. 3 pushes and he was here. Waters went with a gush nearly knocking midwife over and flooding the room, which explains the size of me when I had a\ relativly small baby!!!
Movement early am was due to silly little chap deciding to go back to back!!!!
Main contractions started about 10pm baby arrived at 12.59am
