9 days late, with the threat of being induced and one false alarm, I finally gave birth to Evie Fay.

Contractions started 1.30 am on Mon 9 Aug, had a show with blood in, then waiteed until 5 am to call hospital. We wre advised to go in, as they were 4 mins apart, so off we went in the pouring rain!!!

Internal showed I was 6cm, then we were left to ourselves until we needed help!! Managed with a couple of puffs of gas, and the best couple of midwives ever, plus DH of course!!! 30 mins of pushing, and out she popped! DH cut the cord, then there was a bit of worry as they couldn't find a vein for injection for placenta, but all ok.

Baby fine, DD1 absolutely smitten, all home and happy.

Also, Evie was born on my mum's 50th bday - how amazing!!
