Well this time it wasnt false labour,as you know i was having contractions pretty regular from 1am sunday morning, phoned the hospital early afternoon and they told me that until i was in established labour they couldnt give me any further pain relief,dh demanded i went to hospital as i was shaking and vomiting after each contraction. We got to the hospital at 3.30pm where they took one look at me and gave me pethidine straight away (i couldnt walk)they then examined me and iwas 2cm.They then came back at 7 examined me and iwas 4cm so they gave me g and a and started to fill the pool for me.Got in coped really well in there till 11pm and babys heartrate was increasing.I had had a huge show which they thought had meconium in it.So then things got a little bit more serious they transferred me to the consultants unit, broke my waters straight away and there was lots of it.Baby was distressed so they decided to put me and him on a heart monitor. Then the Dr came in and examined me i was 10cm and i was feeling like i was ready to push.Dr didnt want this and asked mw to monitor mine and babys heartrate and pulse as they were both racing. Then half an hour later i had really strong urge to push this was 2am at 3.30am and with no g and a baby KAI JAMES arrived, with his hands upto his face (so i ended up with a 2nd degree tear)his weight was 8lb 5ozs so he's a little bruiser full head of thick dark hair, very dark olive skin and truly truly beautiful.(He's like my little miracle and we just love him to pieces)came home this afternoon and we are absolutely love being a first time mum and dad.I would just like to say a HUGE thank you,to all the ladies on here who has given me a tremendous amount of support(you know who you are)will post pics soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
