Hi again, been too busy with feeds and everything to post before.

I went into labour about three hours after my third sweep, but when I had the sweep, midwife had said it wouldnt be long before I went into labour anyway as cervix seemed very ready. So wish I hadnt bothered with third sweep but never mind.

Was expecting to have quick labour as my first was only 5 and 3/4 hours, but this time I managed the pain better, didnt think about my previous trauma and birth and really enjoyed the experience as much as you can enjoy being in so much pain, that is!

The baby is lovely and I am really enjoying getting to know him and am looking forward to the future.

Thanks to everyone who gave so much support on my other thread.

Great to hear from you milkybarkid ... enjoy the 'busy with everything' stage - and we'll all still be hear when things settle down and you have time to chat!
