Well Aimee-Page has finally arrived 13 days late. I was induced, my membranes ruptured the next morning at 9am. Used the TENS machine (which I thought was fab!!) then gas n air. Finally had an epidural - bliss. But after 13 hours had only reached 5cm so had an emergency C-section. She weighed in a 10lbs 2oz so glad I did not have to push her out!
The hospital bag items you all advised were fab especially your own pillows!
Breastfeeding is bloody hard work and have never felt pain like it but I think we are finally on our way!

Thanks for all your useful advice.

Congratulations. Don't give up the breastfeeding as it is the best feelin in the world. I wanted to give up after a few weeks, but with the support of my partner I am still feeding DD, she was 1 on August 1.
