short story: it's a boy!!

long story: (typing one handed whilst feeding baby so pls excuse typo's and no caps)

stayed at home for as long as i could to make sure was really labour. got unbearable at about 6ish so we headed off, pains were coming every three mins and i had to really try and breathe them out.

got to hosp at 6:45 (dh must of had his foot down) and walked to labour ward while dh parked car. room was being cleaned so sat in corridor. got a contraction that took me over the edge and started crying, knew that meant baby would soon be here, m/w told cleaner to hurry up, another noist contraction later and she told her to put sheet on bed and told me to come in room.

felt pushing feeling and m/w examined me, 6cms!! got some g&a and felt loopy but kept telling myself i was in control, dh arrived but i didnt want ds2 to sdd me like that he went outside to wait for my cuz to look after him.

2 mad contractions later and i could feel the head. m/ww broke my waters and there was meconium in it, she sent for pead to come. "the baby's coming!" i said. "i'm ready" she said i pushed and she told me to pant, then she said i could push and i did and out came baby!! at 7:17!! poor dh didn't get back in room in time and cuzz missed it by mins!!

baby was fine, i decided to bleed heavily, 2 injections and a drip later, and all was well....

at home now, afterpains bad but other than that am well.
